Wow!! What a year its been!
Words cannot express our feelings for the warmth you made us all feel this year and the joy of Christmas that was spread every show.
Acts 12:24- "The word of God grew and multiplied", not a coincidence, but our motivation every year! As glad as we were about our 10 year history, what thrills us even more is our future! We can't wait to unleash it with you all- stay tuned for the next chapter in this legacy about to begin.
We currently have a dozen new songs already started in the studio and more to come for our most exciting album yet! Here is a quick sample of scratch tracks of only a few of them. We'll keep you in the loop on the magic that is about to become a reality by the next tour!
Though not open to the public, our first show of the season provided more of a Christmas gift to the band than we ever experienced! The White Haven Center, home for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities of the area, for the first time in its history emptied out their building by taking 22 bus trips to transport all of their residents to the Hazleton High School this Saturday, where we all had an evening we'll never forget.
Here is the quote we received from Holly , the program director there. This is not about the band, but it's about the spirit of Christmas and giving in the air already!
We thank you all for your love and support and look forward to seeing you at a show this year- the dates are now all finalized!
"I struggle to capture the enormity of what you created for us on Sat although I am certain that the essence of what you symbolized is represented by three words…Angels from God. You have enabled 152 people who for me exemplify the meaning of hope, strength, courage, and endurance to be blessed, truly blessed. These are people who many may look upon and see absence of ability, absence of life, absence of gifts. I tell you, that is so far from the truth. These are people who have more to offer and give than anyone I have ever met. Our residents are strong, they are filled with life and they see the world in a way which makes all things full of meaning. We were not different, not separate, not less than anyone. On Sat, we were there showing the world our White Haven Center Family and our White Haven Center Pride.
We were in the presence of Angels who blessed each and every one of us with your majestic sounds, heartfelt interactions and recognition of us as being as awesome as I believe and know we are.
The magnitude of life can often be summed up for each of us in one defining moment, the moment in which you know that nothing will ever compare. The moment in which you see in front of you all the faith, hope and love you could ever imagine pouring out from person to person…moments, smiles, memories. Saturday was that moment for me, we were blessed by Angels from God, Twelve Twenty Four truly did create A Miracle on Rock Street.
Thank you for the Spirit of Christmas come to life, Holly
Btw, I have a cried a million tears of joy since Sat night!"

We are saddened to announce the passing of our cellist, and dear friend, Andrew Collinsworth, on October 7, 2011, after a year-long battle against melanoma.
Andrew became part of the Twelve-Twenty Four family in 2009. With his extensive education and classical music training, Andrew made an immediate impact on the band. A life-long musician, Andrew earned a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the University of North Texas. He was state-certified in Texas and taught as an assistant middle school orchestra teacher before moving to Pennsylvania. For the past several years, he has been the principal cellist for the Bloomsburg University & Community Chamber and Symphony Orchestras. His musical endeavors included teaching private string lessons, playing weddings, and playing on occasion with the Choral Society of NEPA, and the Susquehanna Valley Chorale. Conducting, composing, and arranging were his musical passions.
In several weeks, we will begin our 10th season of touring. While we will no longer be able to share our stage with Andrew, his memory will live on in our hearts, our memories, and most importantly, in our music. We can think of no better way to celebrate Andrew’s life than to perform every show in his honor and find peace in knowing that we are blessed to have been a part of his time on Earth.
Andrew possessed an incredible faith in God and he his now in His hands and sharing in His grace. We ask that you keep Andrew, his family, and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
